Fix it Felix Jr Papercraft * by Lionheartcartoon Fix it Felix Jr Papercraft * by Lionheartcartoon
Download enhances the details (and mistakes)

This is a modified version of :iconeltonpot:'s papercraft image:[link]

I used part of Disney's own papercraft texture and my own tweaks to make this project.

The screen comes from a Sapphire Tech LCD keychain.

While at first the screen and everything were to be part of the craft as permanent entities, I had a problem in that the USB wire took a lot of space inside the craft, so building the machine around the screen was not an option. After a day or two of thinking, I used what I already had and built the cabinet normally as to make it a 'sleeve' that goes over a sturdier skeleton already containing the screen.

In a sense, I 'Slip' the cabinet 'Skin' over a cardboard armature. The manipulation of the printed paper kinda gives the project a little 'weathering' like old cabinets get. In the end, I'm very pleased with how this turned out. :)

LOL Really!!? That'd be kickass! I wanted to give her Oreo sandwich cookies for wheels, but that's about all I had thought of on it. I wasn't sure what kind of shape I would give it, but that sort of concepting is always fun! :D

Did he get it built or it was given to him by a theater? :)

I'm just curious to know since it is always possible to build a miniature, working desk version, but only if the ROM of the game exists.

Also tell your teacher that this makes him awesome :)

There's a lot of papercraft out there, and I envy all you clever crafters, but the addition of the screen elevates this one!

I could have done it in an afternoon but I ran into some problems. (Last I checked, I'm the first to have made an electronic papercraft) so I had to solve those first.

took a day or two of thinking to find out how to get the screen AND the wire to fit inside properly. (It may not seem like it, but even a mini-usb connector is HUGE at this scale). And the wire is real stiff too.. it was picking up the game so I added some weight in it too, as to keep it down.
